Kansas Dietetic Association Annual Scholarships
KDA awards the Vaden Scholarship and the McCollum Scholarship at its annual meeting each year. This year’s deadline is February 11, 2005. Application packet must be postmarked by this date. Recipients will be notified in March 2005.
Eligibility:
Vaden Scholarship
- Students accepted for ADA-accredited internships who are graduates of a Kansas college or university or those who are currently enrolled in an internship in Kansas.
- Graduate student in a Kansas college or university with the intent of practicing dietetics. Student must be enrolled in an academic program for the following academic year.
McCollum Scholarship
- Junior or senior student in a Coordinated Program in Dietetics in Kansas.
- Junior or senior student with a declared major in dietetics in an undergraduate program in Kansas (foods and nutrition major who intends to pursue a dietetic internship).
